I’ve been working on a short-term contract with EA and this place is awesome. From the buildings themselves to the people, it’s been fun. I wished that the position had more of a creative side to it (it’s been more of web producing and development) but they can’t all be gems! My last day is Wednesday - then it’s back to the ol’ job hunting again. But, EA has affirmed my desire to work at a place that involves (or evolves) around the gaming industry. It’s just amazing to work with individuals who are so easy-going.

With that being said, Lee and I have teamed up to form Sklee Studios. We’re developing mobile toddler learning games with Lee being responsible for more of the development and me, responsible for the pretty-ness. I still haven’t been able to send out my holiday cards because a) I’ve been too lazy on finding/creating the perfect envelopes and b) I didn’t purchase ink for my R1800. Maybe I’ll save them for next year or I’ll just be that person who sends them out late.

Bah humbug.
