1. New Year’s Resolution

    December 28, 2010

Resolutions, rather. I never just make one. I think I like having more than one because if I fail one I always have the others to fall back on. Of course, this doesn’t work when I don’t even bother with the rest of them. This year, one my resolutions is to be a bit more creative and productive. This means I am participating in the #daily365 and maybe the 365 Project as well.

The #daily365 is to complete a design every day for the entire year. A lot of designers choose a theme (i.e. illustrate a monster every day, letters of the alphabet, etc.,) to challenge and push themselves. I don’t want to try and come up with a different variation of one subject day after day. I’m going to choose a theme-per-week. My first Theme for the week of Jan. 1st-7th will be “Baked Goods.”

The 365 Project is to take a photograph every day. This is more likely to happen because my iPhone4. I’ll try and keep up with both - and I guess I’ll have to create a separate blog for the photo one.

    We’ll see.

In the mean time, I’m off to go read this long ass e-mail that Lee sent me about our new initiative with the mobile children games we’re developing.
