Some of the goodies that I picked up today at the Melrose Trading Post here in Los Angeles. It’s basically a flea market that happens every Sunday from 9-5pm regardless of rain or shine.

There is a vendor that sells nothing but printing blocks, letters, and plates. That’s where I picked up those two “stamps.” I really liked the small one because of it’s orientation and design. The “Payment Received” one I thought would come in handy one day.

The little terrarium I bought from the Branch of Life vendor. The colors are gorgeous and I’ve always wanted one. This was the first time I saw him there and we caught him as he was packing up. I moved it away from the window (it was just for picture purposes) because this little terrarium requires medium light.

I bought a cute little round glass bowl to put my origami stars in. I plan on frosting the bowl first. I’ll probably do that tomorrow and document my steps. We’ll see how that turns out!

Flea markets are my absolute favorite shopping. You can find such great and inspiring pieces for such a good price. You never know what treasures you’ll find :)
